Radiology Supervisor / Operator State Exam Preparation Course
DXA sites that operate bone density equipment are required to have a medical doctor with a radiology supervisor operator license issued by the state of California supervise the operation of that machine. Unlike the technician certification, there is no prerequisite school certificate for the physician supervisor operator examination. FORE now provides a preparation course for the state exam designed to help physicians review for this exam.
The course will be taught by Jennifer Yates MS, RT ® (M) (BD), Science Program Director for Merritt College, School of Radiologic Science. Continuing Medical Education will be provided by FORE, an accredited CME provider.

How do I register?
To register for the Preparation Course, complete the Registration Form. Please read ALL registration materials before submitting your registration. You can either fax completed form to 510-208-7174 OR mail to FORE, 1814 Franklin Street, Suite 620, Oakland, CA 94612.
The Foundation for Osetoporosis Research and Education (FORE) is accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) to provide continueing medical education for physicians. FORE is responsible for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this CME activity.
FORE designates this educational activity for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This credit may also be applied to the CMA Certification in Continuing Medical Education.
